Created by the same team behind Caber House and produced in our workshop in Falkirk, we ensure that all stages of the process, from initial consultation through to construction and installation, are carried out in the most environmentally friendly and quality controlled manner.
Utilising the same low impact, energy efficiency detailing that has gone into producing some of the most sustainable dwellings available in the UK, a Caber Cabin is designed and built to last.

Our Cabins
Enabling Experience
With increased awareness of the impact nature has on our mental and physical well-being, our buildings provide people with a front seat to the natural world. Our cabins provide an affordable, sustainable, and low-impact solution as an alternative to the inefficient glamping cabins or plastic trailer homes prevalent today. Due to the cabins superior construction and higher insulation, gone are the days of waking up in a cold, damp bed, allowing you to experience nature without compromising on comfort.
OUR VISION
We believe that all people should have access to the beauty and peace that nature can give you. Whether it’s an escape to the end of your garden or a week away to the hills, the benefits of surrounding yourself with nature are indisputable. We made it our mission to make it possible to enjoy this without harming the very nature we seek out. We carefully consider the whole lifecycle of your cabin, ensuring we maintain minimal environmental impact through from conception, to construction, to your use and finally to the removal and deconstruction. From small changes such as using only recycled products in the design studio, to major developments such as engineering the ground as opposed to pouring large concrete foundations, allowing the site to return to its natural state at the end of the cabin’s lifespan, we ensure a light touch on the ecosystem. These small changes add up, allowing us to proudly say that your Caber Cabin will be completely carbon neutral!
Designed for maximum efficiency, once we have finalised your design, we begin the construction in our workshop. By choosing to construct your cabin off-site, we reduce the on-site time – minimising disruption to you and your land. When the cabin is ready to install, our team will install our low-impact foundations and the cabin can be lifted into place ready for use. Our cabins can also be placed and re-placed with little impact on the location, making it easy for you to get the scenery you desire.

Our Team
Lead by Colin Potter, our team of Passivhaus and RIAS Sustanable Building certified designers, set about solving the problem of inefficient, poorly constructed holiday and glamping cabins and the outdated inefficient, static caravans. Driven by our beleif that sustanable lifestyles shouldn’t be hard to achieve, we created an alternative: one that is acessable to all, whilst protecting the natural enviroments they sit within. Taking all we have learned from developing Caber House, then applying it to a smaller space, we are able to produce far more efficient, lower impact solutions for small buildings.
